Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2025
- Qualified 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB for General category (40% for SC/ST/OBC)
- No upper age limit as per the latest Supreme Court ruling

The admit card for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2025 will be released on the official website on May 1, 2025. Candidates who have applied to participate in this exam will be able to download and print it by entering the application number and password.
March 2025 Update
As per the latest notification from NTA dated March 15, 2025, the NEET UG 2025 examination will be conducted on May 4, 2025 (Sunday) instead of the previously announced May 5, 2025. All candidates are advised to note this change in their calendars.
Additionally, candidates are now required to bring an additional photograph (same as uploaded in the application form) along with their admit card and ID proof. This is a new requirement introduced for the 2025 examination.

- Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in
- Look for 'Admit Card for NEET UG 2025' under Candidate Activity section
- Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth as password
- Click Submit to download your admit card
- Print the admit card on A4 size paper
- Verify all details and contact NTA helpdesk for any discrepancies
NEET UG 2025 Syllabus
The NEET UG 2025 will be administered by the National Testing Agency in offline mode utilizing the OMR Sheets with an exam time duration of 03 hours. A total of 180 MCQs will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

NEET UG 2025 Syllabus Updates
As per the latest notification from NTA (March 2025), there have been some modifications to the NEET UG 2025 syllabus:
- The chapter on "Environmental Chemistry" has been removed from the Class 11 Chemistry syllabus
- The topic "Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter" has been reduced in scope with focus only on photoelectric effect and matter waves
- In Biology, the chapter on "Strategies for Enhancement in Food Production" has been streamlined with more focus on biotechnology applications
- New additions include "Applications of Biotechnology in Healthcare" in the Class 12 Biology syllabus
- The weightage for NCERT-based questions has been increased to approximately 90% of the total questions
